During the Oneiric Soils residency, inspired by the work on water consciousness by Veda Austin, residents went to sleep with the intention of transmitting their dreams into bottles of water by their bed. This was then poured into petri dishes and frozen, revealing patterns and forms that reflected back their dreamscapes.

In the ice, it was possible to read the dream archetypes, symbology and what Veda describes as water hydroglyphs - patterns that have consistently remained constant (in her experiments this means more than 50 times) such as the signatures for love, rain, life.

Of interest, was the shared dreaming that was revealed - one participant dreamt of a moth and it appeared in another's frozen dream, though they have no recollection of dreaming of a moth.

A guide to how to freeze dreams and work with water and illustrative examples can be found here.
